Black Mamba Racer 2 Released

Starbyte software releases Black Mamba Racer 2. The game was also known as Black Mamba 3D during development. The game is available from the iTunes Store HERE.

Black Mamba Racer 2 is a unique top-down racer which builds on the addictive game-play of its multi-million downloaded predecessor, whilst adding immersive 3D graphics and a multi-tiered Championship with un-lockable rewards, such as a unique track editor where the player can create tracks, drawing with their finger.

The player is racing the Black Mamba and her drones over a series of racetracks, either as single race shoot-outs, solo timed races, or over a full Championship.

The key to success is to learn how to skid, drift and hustle your car round corners as traction is broken easily. However, skilled players can adjust the acceleration and steering to precisely and accurately drift the car round any obstacles at speed.

The Black Mamba and her drones will attempt to out-race, block and impede you, so you need to race tough to get ahead. Various pick-ups are available to help give you an advantage, and in the Championship, you can tune your car for extra precision in key areas.

There are three difficulty settings – Easy, Normal and Pro. Even skilled racers will find it extremely challenging to win the Championship on the Pro setting.

Black Mamba Racer 2 has been optimised for both iPhone retina and iPads, yet will happily run on any IOS device (iPhone, iPod touch and iPad).

NEX - a video walk through

NEX is not an easy game to understand initially, so we have made a YouTube annotated video walk through of level 4.

This shows how the game is played, what strategy this mission needs and gives a clear idea of the unique mixture of first person action, tactical ordering of your squad and quick thinking that is required to complete the first of many tough missions.

Black Mamba Racer Update.

Work has nearly completed on a long awaited update for Black Mamba Racer. The update adds a new section called ProTracks, consisting of 4 brand new tracks along with much enhanced and toughened AI. Races on these tracks will represent a real challenge to those who have successfully completed the current Black Mamba tracks, and only the most skilful racers will be victorious.

We expect to submit this update to Apple next week.
